I am most grateful to Mr. Bailey for operating on my painful, arthritic shoulder at the Nuffield hospital (on NHS). His cheerful and reassuring manner and courtesy helped a great deal to build trust and the confidence in his ability to restoring my shoulder to its former mobility. The operation was explained in terms I could understand, with X-Rays shown to me before and after. After only eight weeks following the operation, my shoulder is much more mobile than before, the scar is barely visible and, although the pain has not yet fully gone, I feel confident that it will do so in due course (as he assures me). I cannot think of any improvement in the excellent care given, except for the luxury of a little more time to talk.

I had my Right Knee Joint replaced in March 2014, and my Left knee joint in April 2015. by Chris Bailey. In the time before the replacements, he was very caring and informative, trying to improve my knee's medically with silicon injections, before agreeing to carry out replacement surgery. I saw him last in June this year, when now walking better than I have for several years, and my medication now reduced down a few Paracetamol a day. Not totally pain free, but a 100% better than I have been for years. I thoroughly recommend Chris Bailey, for his ability as a caring Doctor and a competent Surgeon

From the beginning of my treatment Mr Bailey was the epitome of professionalism providing clarification and outlining alternatives when necessary. Following surgery and whilst I was in the hospital he took the time to call in and ask as to my well-being, suggesting short term targets for recovery. During the convalescence period he has remained supportive and fully cogniscent of my needs. It has been a genuine pleasure to have been treated by Christopher Bailey and I would recommend him unreservedly.
